A Celebration of Simplicity and Elegance: Sarah and Chris at Krinklewood

Some weddings capture your heart the moment you arrive, Sarah and Chris’s celebration at Krinklewood Estate was one of those days. With just 26 of their closest family and friends, their wedding was a beautiful reminder that sometimes less really is more.

The setting was breathtaking. Warm spring light danced across the trees, the air was still, and the atmosphere felt intimate and full of joy. Krinklewood, with its rustic charm and sweeping views, provided the perfect backdrop for a day that truly embodied simplicity and elegance.

Guests were greeted with canapés as Amy from Wild Ivory Mobile Bar took care of the bar, serving a signature cocktail and mocktail alongside a full bar service. The relaxed, welcoming energy set the tone for what would become a truly unforgettable evening.

As the sun dipped lower, long tables were set for a banquet-style main course, encouraging conversation and connection. It was all about great food shared amongst the people who mattered most, just as Sarah and Chris envisioned.

Canapés
• Baked Four Cheese Tart, cheese custard, thyme & hot honey 
• Grilled Haloumi Soft Taco, tomato chutney, shaved slaw & spiced almonds
• Braised Pork Soft Taco, coconut curry, wombok, charred corn, thai basil & peanut crumb

Banquet Main Course
• Wagyu Beef Rump, parsley, mustard and peppercorn cream
• Layered Potato Gratin, creamed leek, marjoram, parmesan and crispy onions
• Wok Tossed Greens, eshallot vinaigrette, chilli, ginger, shallots and togarashi
• Roasted Beetroot, charred corn, mint, whipped tahini, leaf, lentils and spiced almonds

It was a menu full of flavour, texture, and colour, dishes that felt both comforting and elevated, perfectly suited to such a heartfelt celebration.
