Some events just feel special from the moment you arrive, and Olivia and Tim’s engagement party was exactly that.
Set on a private property overlooking both the valley and the ocean in Stanwell Park, the location alone did most of the talking. It was one of those views that makes you pause for a second and take it all in.
The day itself brought true Australian summer energy, reaching a steamy 43 degrees with barely a breeze in sight. Despite the heat, the atmosphere stayed relaxed, with guests settling in, drink in hand, ready to celebrate.
A relaxed, shared style of dining
The brief for the day was simple: keep it relaxed, generous, and focused on bringing people together.
Guests were welcomed with roaming canapés, creating an easy, social start to the afternoon. It gave everyone the chance to move around, chat, and settle into the space without anything feeling too structured.
As the evening unfolded, the dining shifted into a buffet,, allowing guests to build their own plates and continue that shared, informal experience. It’s a style that always works well for events like this, especially when the focus is on connection, conversation, and enjoying the moment.
Alongside the food, we also took care of the bar service with a six-hour premium offering, including beer, wine, champagne, and spirits. A two-hour cocktail hour featuring Hugo Spritz and Negroni added an extra layer to the experience, giving guests something refreshing to enjoy as they settled into the celebration.

Just as the day began to wind down, a southerly change rolled through.
The temperature dropped, the breeze picked up, and the wind received a standing ovation from the guests!
Guests lingered a little longer, the music carried a little further, and the atmosphere settled into something that felt effortless.
At its core, this was a celebration built around friends, family, and good food. Nothing overly formal, nothing forced, just a genuinely enjoyable afternoon that flowed naturally from start to finish.
