On the 25th of April 2026, we had the pleasure of catering Chiara and Gianni's beautiful wedding at McGuigan House in the Hunter Valley.

With 185 guests in attendance, their celebration was the perfect blend of elegance, family, and European-inspired hospitality. From the moment guests arrived, it was clear that this wedding was centred around bringing loved ones together to celebrate in style.

After exchanging vows at a local Hunter Valley church, guests made their way to McGuigan House to continue the celebrations. Dressed in black tie attire, family and friends gathered amongst the beautiful grounds of the property, creating a timeless and sophisticated atmosphere that felt both grand and incredibly welcoming.

As guests arrived back at the venue, our team began serving roaming canapés throughout the gardens surrounding the house. It was the perfect way for everyone to settle in, enjoy a drink, reconnect with family and friends, and take in the stunning surrounds before the reception began.

A Celebration Built Around Family

One of the things we loved most about Chiara and Gianni's wedding was the strong focus on family and togetherness.

As the evening unfolded, guests made their way into the marquee where four long tables stretched through the space, creating an inviting setting that encouraged conversation, connection and shared moments throughout the night.

Long-table dining has a unique way of bringing people together. Rather than being separated across multiple tables, guests become part of one collective celebration, sharing stories, laughter and incredible food together.

For Chiara and Gianni, it was the perfect reflection of what mattered most to them on the day.

Banquet dining continues to be one of our favourite ways to cater weddings of this style. The generous share plates create a sense of abundance while encouraging guests to interact, pass dishes around the table and enjoy the experience together.

Combined with the warm atmosphere created by the long-table layout, it helped turn dinner into a memorable part of the celebration rather than simply a meal between formalities.

Seamless Food & Beverage Service

Alongside the catering, our team also provided a comprehensive six-hour bar service package to ensure the food and beverage experience felt seamless from start to finish.

This included professional bar service, glassware for guest tables, beverage transfer from cocktail space and table service throughout the evening, along with after-dinner spirits to help carry the celebrations late into the night.

Having food and beverage service managed by one team allows the entire experience to flow effortlessly, giving couples one less thing to think about while ensuring guests are looked after every step of the way.

A Beautiful Hunter Valley Celebration

Chiara and Gianni's wedding was a wonderful reminder that some of the most memorable celebrations are those centred around great food, good wine and the people you love most.

From the elegant black-tie atmosphere and beautiful Hunter Valley setting to the long-table banquet feast shared amongst family and friends, every element of the day felt thoughtful, welcoming and genuinely special.
