A Relaxed Afternoon of Fine Food, Great Wine & Live Music | Pepper Tree Wines Harvest Lunch
Just a few weeks ago, we had the pleasure of catering the annual Pepper Tree Wines Harvest Lunch, an afternoon that brought together 94 members to celebrate the end of another vintage in the beautiful surrounds of Mount View Estate in the Hunter Valley.
Each year, once vintage has wrapped up and the pace of the vineyard begins to slow, Pepper Tree Wines hosts this special event as an opportunity to thank its members and celebrate another successful season. It was a wonderful afternoon of exceptional wines, thoughtfully designed food and plenty of laughter shared amongst great company.
Guests were welcomed with a glass of Pepper Tree sparkling wine, poured by the team from Wild Ivory, while our chefs served two roaming canapés throughout cocktail hour. It created the perfect opportunity for everyone to relax, reconnect and enjoy the beautiful surrounds before making their way inside for lunch.
Once seated, guests enjoyed a bespoke four-course individually plated menu, carefully created to complement eight Pepper Tree wines, including a selection of their Museum Release wines chosen especially for the occasion. Each course was thoughtfully paired to enhance the wines and create a dining experience that celebrated both the food and the incredible produce of the Hunter Valley.

Baked Manchego, whipped chevre, beurre bosc & candied walnuts
One of the real highlights of the afternoon was the live music by Anna Weatherup. Her beautiful vocals created a relaxed atmosphere throughout lunch before the afternoon naturally evolved into something even more memorable. As the music continued, guests found themselves up on the dance floor, singing along and enjoying the moment together. It was one of those occasions where the atmosphere felt effortless, with everyone simply enjoying great food, exceptional wine and even better company.
Events like this are a reminder that memorable dining experiences are about so much more than the menu. They are about bringing people together, creating conversation around the table and giving guests an experience they'll remember long after the final course has been served.
