Kempsey and Sam’s Wedding at Bobs Farm
We travelled to the gorgeous Bobs Farm to cater Kempsey and Sam’s wedding on the 17th of October.
From the start, this wedding had the perfect balance of elegant and relaxed, and you could feel that everyone was ready to unwind, celebrate and soak up every moment of the day.
With 135 guests coming together, the energy was incredible. There was plenty of catching up, laughter and celebrating as everyone made the most of being together.
Kempsey and Sam wanted their catering to reflect that relaxed feeling, so they chose a full roaming canapé service for their wedding day.
It was the perfect choice for the setting. With the beautiful marquee and stunning Bobs Farm location, guests could move around, enjoy the space and catch up with friends and family while our team moved through the crowd serving canapés.
They selected eight canapés from our menu, giving guests plenty to enjoy throughout the afternoon.

BBQ Chorizo Roll, aged cheddar, bruschetta, dijon & crispy eshallot
Grilled Haloumi Soft Taco, tomato chutney, shaved slaw & spiced almonds
Braised Pork Soft Taco, coconut curry, shaved slaw & peanut crumb
Teriyaki Glazed Chicken Dumpling, miso mayo, shallots, mint & soy seeds
Tandoori Chicken Tikka, roti bread, fennel, sweet chilli crunch & mint raita
Lamb Cracker, snake beans, shoots, xo black beans & fried noodles
Eye Fillet Tartare Crostini, salsa matcha, whipped feta & green peppers
Grilled Prawn, sambucca cream, sambal & curry leaf crisp
The celebrations continued with six hours of bar service from Wild Ivory Mobile Bar, including mixed spirits, giving everyone plenty of time to settle in, enjoy a drink and make the most of the afternoon.
We loved how naturally everything came together. The food, drinks, setting and service all worked together to create a wedding that felt elevated but never overly formal.
It was a day where guests could relax, move around, enjoy incredible food and simply spend time together, which is exactly what Kempsey and Sam had envisioned.
